Africa Project 2001

In the month of August 2001 a nine-member team went for a mission in Kenya - East Africa to

help more than 2000 children by providng them with aid. The schools and organizations had

expressed their need for necessities like food, educational supplies, water wells, electricity, tools,

and desks. The total cost ot the project was $78, 648.31.

GHANA - West Africa Project

Project Ghana was initiated by Alisa Buckley.  Alisa forged ahead and did fund raising on her own,

on behalf of the Society.  Alisa was in Accra, Ghana from September 2004 to July 2005,

bringing to many needy children educational and art supplies.   Below the children are working on a

number of their many art projects.  The Society gave Alisa art supplies,

and has sponsored her to go back to Ghana to build a library.

Alisa brought lots of the artwork back to Canada and beautiful cards created & sold boxed

sets to help fund more projects for these children. Below are some of the children with their finished art.
