Patricia Wheatly is a former nurse who, over the course of several years became a Foster Mother to 11 severely disabled
children. She has since adopted all 11. Patricia Wheatley has been nominated for Calgary's "Woman of Vision" and she has
nominated as a "Foster Mother of the Year".
Patricia sent the Society a letter almost three years ago asking for help in doing renovations to her home to make it bigger.
She currently has a home of 1200 sq ft. It has taken this long to get different companies on board.
Ellis Don Construction - was one of the first that came on board & from there it mushroomed. The extension to Patricia's
home will provide an additional 1200 sq ft of living space.
