In Cairo Ashid Bahl met up with our member George Ellis’ daughter ( Elle Ellis) and visited a school run by OLIVE YOU organization. The school focuses on skill development, learning & healing through an art program for children from Gaza and Palestine. We will be supporting & fundraising for this school in the near future.

“I also tried to cross into Gaza to help another 50 injured children escape into Egypt with the help from Dr. El Hedidy but was blocked by  Israel. They refused to give me permission & if I tried to cross over they would put my life in danger. They also did not give permission to the children, saying that they wanted to insure that they are not linked to terrorism. I just shook my head in frustration & disbelief.” -Ashid Bahl
